  • Hold fn to talk.
  • Updates itself in the background.

for windows

Windows 10 version 1809 or later · 64-bit

Download the installer
  • Installs for you only, so Windows never asks for an administrator.
  • Hold right ctrl to talk.
  • Same account as the Mac. If you already paid, sign in with the same email.

Windows will show a blue "Windows protected your PC" box. That is expected.

The Windows installer is not code-signed yet. The certificate is in progress; until it arrives, SmartScreen warns about any installer it has not seen many times before, regardless of what is in it. Nothing is wrong with the file.

  1. Click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

If you would rather check first, every release publishes a SHA-256 checksum next to the installer on the releases page, and you can compare it with Get-FileHash in PowerShell.
